Because the auction sheet is written with the exact description of the car.
The necessity of the auction sheet
Many people may ask about auction sheets, why should I look at auction sheets? The auction sheet gives a detailed description of everything that you can buy a car by looking at it. If you see the auction sheet, you will not even need to look at your reconditioned car. The price of the car is determined based on the mileage of the car in the auction sheet. For example, if a car travels 50,000 km, it will cost more and a car with a mileage of 10,000 km will cost less. That is what happened in Japan, but when we talk about Bangladesh, I must say that when looking at the auction sheets in Bangladesh, you must check the credibility of the organization. Then maybe there will be no fear of being cheated.
Reconditioned car grade explanation
Usually, the grading of a car on an auction sheet is based on three factors. Firstly exterior, secondly interior and thirdly mileage.
Exterior grade method
A, B, C, D refers to car dent, rubbing, or any other problem. A, B, C, D respectively indicate more problems than fewer problems of the car.
A Grade – If you want to look like a brand new exterior.
B Grade – A little stain but can be easily removed if B.
C Grade – If the car’s exterior is in good condition but there are few burn marks, it will be Grade C.
D Grade- Finally grade D means that the condition of the exterior is very bad.
Grade S – Grade S refers to a brand new car. This S grade car looks brand new. In Bangladesh, mainly S grade cars are sold as brand new cars. Exterior grades are also determined by a few more characters –
A- No stains on the upper part of the car
U – If there is any kind of hole in the car
B – If some holes are seen with spots
W – light work is done in the car
S-rust (orange)
C-Corrosion (rusted metal parts)
P-colored spots
H-color rising
XX – Replaced panel
X – parts need to be replaced
G- Pieces of stone
Y-cracked anything is seen
E- dimple
Interior grading system
Grade A – This grade means no parts were lost inside the vehicle. All parts are in stock.
Grade B – This grade car is pretty good. No paint, dents, or repairs will be required.
Grade C – may require minor repairs. Such as- cigarette burn stains, food stains, any screw holes, etc. may be present.
Grade D – Cars in this grade are fairly bad. Blemishes, burns, or other spots can be noticed.
Grade E – A car in very bad condition is dropped to grade E. The dashboard is broken, the seats are worn out and many repairs may be required.
Mileage grade method
Grade 7, 8, 9, or S- These are graded cars that are new and are sold at auction with only delivery mileage.
Grade 6- This grade is given for new vehicles but the delivery mileage is a bit higher. Mileage is up to a maximum of 30,000 km. Grade 6 is not given if there is any kind of stain. That means you can’t tell with the naked eye whether the car is old or new.
Grade 5 – This grade is given to vehicles with a maximum mileage of 50,000 km. The two may have one accent mark. You can safely run for 5 years.
Grade 4.5- The condition of the car is excellent but the mileage is over 1 lakh
Grade 4- The condition of the car is quite good and quite reliable. But mileage is not a problem (more or less). The cars that pass the field test in the eyes of the veterans are thrown in this grade.
Grade 3.5 – A lot is done in cars like Grade 4 but some work may be required on the colors and panels.
Grade 3- Paint and panel work should be done on an emergency basis or the panel should be changed on an emergency basis. The terms and duration are the same as grade 3 but the mileage is much higher.
Grade 2- Bad condition cars are dropped to Grade 2. This grade refers to the deplorable condition of the car. Holes, erosion, etc. indicate serious problems in this grade. If you are looking for a classic or bus, truck or car then you can choose from this grade.
Grade 1 can be of two types-
1. Engine modification
2. Change of manual transmission from auto
Grade 0, A, R, RA – These cars have a history of previous repairs. The auction will mention fixing the inside panel of the car. These repairs may be less and maybe more.
