Honda Motor Company Ltd. is a Japanese automobile company. The founder of Honda Motor is ‘Soichiro Honda.’ Since 1959, Honda has been recognized as the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world. In 2001, Honda became the second automobile company in Japan. The world-famous Honda Motor still holds its best position in making automobiles.
Let’s find out about some Honda Motor cars.
1. Honda Fit
Another name for Honda Fit is Honda JAZZ. This car has four doors. And its engine is in front. Honda Motor has been building it since 2001. Now the third generation is going on. Honda-Fit has ten plants in eight countries.
2. Honda Accord
Honda Accord-197 has been made. It is a four-seater sedan car. Its features are completely different from other cars. In 1989, it became one of the best-selling cars in America. Honda Accord’s nameplate has been used in many cars around the world.
3. Honda Civic Hybrid
The Honda Civic Hybrid is a combination of Honda Civic and Hybrid Electric Powertrain. It was first opened in 2001. The California Air Resources Board of the United States recognized it as the first ‘Hybrid Partial Zero Emission Vehicle’. It uses an almost identical Honda Insight, ‘Integrated Motor Assist Hybrid’ system.
4. Honda CR-V
The Honda CR-V is a compact crossover. Honda Motor built it in 1995. It is driven by Honda Civic. Its CR-V means are different in different places. In most areas, it is known as “Comfortable Runabout Vehicle”.
5. Honda Insight
Honda Insight- a hybrid electronic car. The first generation of this car had three doors. Later in the second generation, it was made as a five-door. This is the first Honda Motor car to use the Motor Assist System. The second-generation first came to the Japanese market in February 2009. And hit the US market in March 2009.
6. Honda CR-Z
It is a sports compact hybrid electric automobile. Has been marketed as Sport Hybrid Coupe. It is a hybrid ‘Gasoline-Electric Powertrain’ and a traditional sports-car. Manufactured in the United States with 2 + 2-seating system and ‘Standard 6 Speed Manual Transmission.’ Its successor is the second generation ‘Honda-CRX.’ This car from Honda Motor is unique in name and design.
