Don’t forget to do those things before going home to celebrate Eid!

Everyone is probably looking forward to going home to Eid. And in two or three days, the city dwellers will start leaving the workplace. From the first day of the holiday, you will be busy and in a hurry to share the joy of Eid with your family. And in the rush to get home, many forget to do much important work. At the end of the holiday, the toll is to be counted. So let’s find out which things must be done before going home for Eid and don’t forget to do these things.

Keep photocopies of necessary documents

Before going to the village, photocopy the various necessary documents such as ID card, passport, etc. and keep one copy with you and keep the original copy carefully. Because if you keep the original copy with you, these useful documents may be lost in a hurry or in the hands of a pickpocket.

Ensure home security

Before starting the Eid journey from the city to the village, make sure of the safety of your home in the city. Close the door and window properly. Use good quality security locks. Because when everyone in the city goes to celebrate Eid in the village, the infestation of thieves increases in the city.

Charge gadgets and mobiles well

It is often seen in busyness or in a hurry that many people cannot charge the mobile properly and completely before starting the journey. As a result, it becomes difficult to communicate with anyone else when the mobile charge is over. The rest of the family became anxious. So charge it well first or if you have a portable charger with you, keep it with a full charge.

Gas, electricity, and water

Those who are going to the village for Eid will switch off all the electricity in the house before starting the Eid procession. Keep all connections and plugs free from the socket. The gas switch should also be turned off. And start the journey for Eid by sticking and checking the water tap well.

Leaving the car in the garage

If you have a car or bike and if you leave it in the garage to go to Eid, then ensure the safety of expensive cars. Keep the engine and door of the car and bike well locked. If there is a doorman, ask him to keep a close eye on your car.

List and follow the list

Make a list of what to do and what to take with you on the Eid holidays one day before the holiday starts. Then look at the list and take all the things together and use the Eid holidays. By doing this, time will be saved, Eid will be celebrated easily and happily.

Check the schedule

Check any work schedule that falls during the Eid holidays. Cancel in advance the activities or appointments that you cannot take part in for the Eid holidays. Follow the schedule to get the official work done on time.

Empty the fridge and dustbin

It is often seen that a lot of things need to be left in the fridge before going on vacation. In this way, the food kept in the fridge is spoiled in the cold, or the vegetables are dried. You can’t even eat this stale food after coming back from vacation. So empty the fridge before going home. And don’t forget to throw dirt in the dustbin. Otherwise, there will be a bad smell even if there is no one in the house on holiday.

Go to Eid after tidying up the house

Tell me, when you return to your busy life after the Eid holidays, do you want to wipe the house clean again? So before going home, wash and clean the house. If necessary, keep the pillows, sheets, and curtains of the house clean and tidy so that they do not have to worry about coming back.

Take care of tickets

If you have booked a bus, train, or plane ticket before going home, take care of the ticket. And keep photocopied. Collect from the designated place before leaving. Then there will be no fear of losing the ticket.

Home tree tubs and pets

Many people plant flowers in flower tubs at home or keep pets. Leave proper care and watering of the plants before going home. If you have a pet, you can leave it at home without leaving it alone so that the animal does not suffer.

Books and food

He does not have an exact address to reach home when there is a traffic jam during Eid Yatra or how long it takes. So you can take books with you to spend time in the jam. And can be kept with light kind of dry snacks.

Bill payment

Eid has come at a time when various bills have to be paid. Pay electricity bill, dish bill, internet bill, etc. before Eid. Otherwise the bill payment date may have passed during the Eid holidays and you may look back after Eid and disconnect your electricity or internet connection. It is not desirable to have such a misery after a beautiful holiday and return to a busy life.

If you can do the above before you go home for Eid, then your Eid journey will be beautiful, and you will spend your Eid holidays in despair. Holidays that are full of complexity are neither fun nor comfortable. Happy Eid-ul-Fitr!
