Cricketer Abdur Razzak has survived a fatal accident. On his way back from his village home Fakirhat on 28/06/18, his car lost control and fell into a ditch near Gopalganj. No one was killed in the accident. His wife was in a private car. One sister and two nieces have all been injured, more or less. But using these 7 tips, Mr. Jamal has got rid of his worries.
1. Determining the age of the tire –
The wheel has a four-digit dot code, the first two numbers indicate the week in which the tire was made and the next two numbers indicate the year in which the tire was made. If this dot code is not always on the outside of the wheel, you need to use a jack to lift the tire.
2. To check the wheel every 5 years and change it as required-
Some car manufacturers, such as Nissan and Mercedes-Benz, recommend changing wheels every 5 years, depending on the lifespan of the wheels.
3. Anti-Oxidant tires-
Buy a tire that has a chemical called “anti-oxidant” in rubber that does not allow the wheel to corrode easily.
4. Save the extra wheels-
Save the extra wheels by attaching them to the wheels of the car. Usually, the wheel gets damaged quickly due to dirt, dust, and excessive heat due to the extra wheel being placed under the vehicle.
5. Do not use old/second-hand tires-
Tires may not be new if not used. It is also dangerous to buy tires made many years ago in the shop because its warranty has expired from the store.
6. Use tires of minimum 1.6 mm tread depth-
This increases the braking capacity of wet roads by up to 40%. Examination of the tires of the vehicles involved in the accident showed that most of them had a tread depth of less than 1.6.
7. Try to maintain the recommended pressure-
Try to maintain the recommended pressure for the tire from the manual of the car in the regular tire. The wheel should not extend more or less than the prescribed pressure.
